Air Service

Edmonton International Airport is located 10 minutes east of Devon. This facility caters to both passenger and freight movements and is considered to be one of the best airports in Canada. 

Rail Service

Canadian National and Canadian Pacific Railways provide services at Nisku, (20 kms ), Calmar (15 kms )and Edmonton (28 kms).

Highways

Devon is located in a very strategic position with respect to transportation routes. Highways 19 and 60 form a road network that is designated as a truck bypass route around the City of Edmonton and is part of the Regional Ring Road system. Many transportation companies as well as tourists are using these highways to escape the noise and congestion encountered in the City.

  • #60 - North - to Hwy. #16 A and Hwy. #16 (Yellowhead Highway) east or west, connecting various routes to Peace River District, Jasper and N.W.T. Primary highway to West Edmonton.
  • #60 - South - to Hwy. #39 west to Calmar & Drayton Valley or east to Highway #2 Calgary
  • #19 - East - to International Airport (13 km) & Nisku Business Park and Hwy. #2, main route to south Edmonton or Calgary.
