Acceptable Methods and Locations for Making Payments

1. Pay online or by phone through your bank.

By paying online or through your financial institution, not only will you avoid a trip to your mailbox or the drive to the Town of Devon office, but you will also save the cost a cheque and a stamp. Most banking institutions have the Town of Devon listed for making payments via the Internet or telephone banking. You can set up your payments through the following banking institutions: ATB, BMO, CIBC, Credit Union, HSBC, RBC, Scotia and TD. 

2. Sign-up for the Town’s Pre-authorized Payment Plan

A preset amount will be withdrawn from your bank account on the last day of the month. Contact the Town of Devon Tax Department at 780.987.8304 to request additional information regarding our Pre-authorized Payment Plan.

3. Pay in person at most banks and financial institutions

Payment can be made at the bank through the tellers.

4. Pay by mail

Mail your payment cheque to the Town of Devon Tax Department: 1 Columbia Avenue West, Devon, AB T9G 1A1.  Be sure to include your Tax Notice Stub or Tax Roll Number.

5. Pay at the Town of Devon Office

You can make a payment in person at the Town of Devon office at 1 Columbia Avenue West: by cash, cheque, money order or Interac, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  (please note we do not accept Visa or MasterCard for Tax Payments)

A night drop box is available at the Town of Devon Office (1 Columbia Avenue West) where you can drop off your cheque payment. Be sure to include your Tax Notice Stub or Tax Roll Number.
