Finance and Support Services

This Department oversees all financial systems including financial and procurement services, the development of corporate financial processes, policies and procedures and setting of financial management standards in order to be fiscally responsible with public funds and to minimize the Town's exposure to financial risk. As well as manage the Town's banking, operating and capital budget, capital asset and debenture system, accounts for the Town's cash investments, monitors loans and handle grant administration.

The Finance and Support Services Department provides the following services to the residents of The Town of Devon and the organization:

• Customer Services including Reception and Payment on Account

• Utility Billing

•  Accounts Receivable Service and Collection

• Pay and Benefits Administration

• General Accounting and Financial Services including Annual Budgets

• Civic Building Maintenance

• Insurance and Risk Management Services

• Records Management and Freedom of Information Coordination

• Forecasting and Strategic Planning including Long Term Capital Planning
