The Town of Devon boasts a number of facilities on offer to residents and visitors. Whatever the weather and whatever you are looking for we have something on offer for everyone.
Ball Diamonds
There are four ball diamond areas located on the south end of town (at the corner of Highway 19 and Highway 60) and two locations in town. The ball diamonds have shaled infields with grass outfields and are fenced in.
For information on bookings or to reserve the Devon Ball Diamond for your next event contact Deanne with the Devon Ball Diamond Association at

Basketball Courts
There are outdoor basketball courts available for the community to enjoy. The courts are located next to John Maland High School, Riverview Middle School and Highwood Park.
Dale Fisher Arena
The Dale Fisher Arena was first built in 1972 and has had several upgrades since then. In the spring of 1999 the arena was named in honour of Dale Fisher, who was instrumental in both the development of the arena and of the minor hockey program in Devon. Today the Dale Fisher Arena is home to the Devon Minor Hockey Association, Devon Skating Club and several adult hockey teams.
In addition to the main indoor arena, there is also a full size outdoor rink built immediately adjacent to the Dale Fisher Arena. This outdoor rink was developed to provide the community with a place to play unorganized hockey or enjoy a leisurely skate.
PLEASE NOTE: THE OUTDOOR RINKS ARE NOW CLOSED.
Please be aware that, due to the unseasonably warm weather, the outdoor rinks are no longer fit for use and the Town of Devon is recommending that patrons do not use the rinks. If you do choose to go out on them you do so at your own risk.
If you have any questions please call Chris at 780-987-4242.

The arena is going to be renovated again in 2010 with some major upgrades being undertaken. A copy of the plans is available HERE.
