Geocaching
Geocaching is modern day treasure hunting using a GPS. Caches are set up all around the world, many of which are in Devon. Approximately 79 locations are found in the Edmonton area. The caches are shared on the internet complete with their GPS coordinates. Once found, a cache may contain a small treasure or reward for the visitor. If the visitor takes a treasure, it is customary to leave a new one in its place for the next person to find. Finding the cache is more challenging than it sounds, but that is the fun of it. This is a great activity for those that love the outdoors, families and treasure hunters.
