Yes, that is what we refer to ourselves as. Did you know that we were named after the Devonian Reef Rock formation....our small but mighty community exists because in 1949 oil was struck just 2 kilometers down the highway at Leduc #1. This event is the only one of its kind to have so greatly affected our economic history in Canada.
Now that you are here you may have a long list of things to do. We hope what you find here on our website will be of some help and if you are unable to find what you are looking for here online, please contact our Municipal Office where one of our staff will be happy to spend some time answering your questions. Our office is located at 1 Columbia Avenue West (directly behind the A & W on Superior Street) and we are open from 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday.

Child Care - we have two registered Day Care Centres in Devon and many Day Home providers.
Transportation - The Town of Devon operates a Community Bus which services our residents on a routine schedule. There are also a number of Taxi Service Operators 
who call Devon their home.
Activities & Attractions There are numerous tourism related activities and attractions right close to our community. We encourage you to take the time to visit our operators.
