1228 Community Events Event date: 2/27/2022 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM Export event This year’s motto: Family - Friends - Neighbours - Casual Social Ski Date / Time: February 27, 2022 Sunday at 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm Location : The Devon Golf Course parking lot Come try the DNSC ski trails in our Family Fun Ski Loppet (bring your own skis) There are no fees or costs and no registration. The idea is to bring a friend, family member or neighbour to enjoy an afternoon of fun skiing, social interaction and exposure to Nordic (Cross Country) skiing. Anyone on skis is welcome. Come enjoy watching members of the Devon Nordic Youth program ages 4-14 and learn how much fun this winter sport can be. Ski distances for all abilities 500m, 2km, 5km or 10km no timing involved, just a fun ski. We will do a covid friendly mingle outside, and then all do a mass start at 2:00 pm Sorry, no indoor facilities are available. Your own outdoor tailgate refreshments will be the way to go after the ski this year. Porta-Potty is available in the parking lot. Share Print
