Creating wildflower gardens is considered a low-cost alternative to high maintenance gardening.  Planting with native species benefits our environment, the wildlife and overall health of our communities.  Many wildflowers prefer poor soil and inattention, making them ideal for tough to maintain areas of your property.

Join Manna from the Native Plant Society as she describes the differenced between Native and Invasive plants, provides information about different native plant habitats, and gives details about some of the most common and easy to grow plants native to the Edmonton area.
