Water Rates

• Water Rate Basic Charge per Month: $18.98 per month*
• *Plus a Commodity Charge of $2.10 per cubic meter

Metered Service pipe size up to and including:

• 19mm (3/4") $18.98*
• 25mm (1") $31.40*
• 32mm (1 1/4") $36.32*
• 38mm (1 1/2") $43.31*
• 50mm (2") $50.04*
• 75mm (3") $53.76*
• 100mm (4") $68.63*
• 150mm (6") or larger $99.74*

The amount of water consumed by your household may change during each billing cycle and usually differs from one household to another.

Wastewater Rates

• Sewer Rate: Basic monthly charge $45.40 per month*
• Storm Water Drainage Fee: Basic monthly charge $12.00
• *Plus a Commodity Charge of $3.06 per cubic meter based on water meter volume recorded

Natural Gas Rates

• Basic Monthly Charge $39.50
• *Plus Distribution Charge $2.09 gigajoule (Less than 8,000 GJ per year)
• *Plus Energy Charge equal to the price paid by the Town of Devon for natural gas purchases.

Solid Waste & Recycling Rates

• The basic charge for weekly pick-up of solid waste & recycling is $32.00 per month.

The Town of Devon has contracted garbage & recycling pick-up service to all occupied residential premises within the Town. Waste carts, organics carts and blue bags are picked up on a weekly basis. Waste is limited to what will fit into the waste cart with the lid closed. There is no limit on the number of blue bags that will be picked up.

Every spring and fall, the Town offers a Large Item Pick Up Week where large items, such as furniture, will be collected. 

Leduc & District Waste Management Facility

Residents of Devon may deliver garbage and other items to the Leduc & District Waste Management Facility located just off Rolleyview Road east of Leduc.

Hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Mon. - Sat.
