Automated Traffic Enforcement

The Town of Devon uses Automated Traffic Enforcement (ATE) or "Photo Radar" to assist the Town's RCMP and Community Peace Officers with the enforcement of speeding, red light infractions and stop signs at various locations throughout Devon.

Locations

Automated Traffic Enforcement may be located at various positions throughout Devon. All locations are reviewed and approved on multiple levels, including the Justice & Solicitor General's office.

Review and Notification

Evidence capturing a photo enforcement violation is reviewed and verified by a trained Community Peace Officer before a violation ticket is prepared and mailed out to the registered owner of the plate.

Fines

All traffic related fines are set by the Province of Alberta.
