Water Meter Replacement Program

The Town of Devon has contracted Metercor Inc. to replace water meters in homes and businesses throughout the community.

For 2026, the Town is looking to replace about 150 meters. If your meter has been selected for replacement, Metercor Inc. will reach out to directly to you to arrange for the meter replacement.

Many of Devon’s existing water meters are aging and nearing the end of their service life. Replacing these meters will help ensure water consumption continues to be measured accurately and reliably.

Why are water meters being replaced?

The new meters will provide several benefits for residents and the Town, including:

  • More accurate water measurement – helping ensure residents and businesses are billed based on their actual water use.
  • Better information about water use – providing improved information to help residents understand and manage their consumption.
  • Reliable infrastructure – replacing aging equipment before it reaches the end of its useful life helps maintain dependable utility service.

There is no cost to property owners or residents for the water meter replacement.
