Property Tax Notices

Property tax notices are mailed to all Devon property owners by May 31 each year. Taxes are due June 30.

To avoid a 6% penalty on unpaid taxes, please make your payment early to ensure processing times are met. If you have not received your property tax notice by the second week of June, please contact the Town Office at 780-987-8300.

Where Your Tax Dollars Go

Although property taxes are collected by the Town of Devon, a portion is transferred to:

  • Alberta Education – to support the provincial education system
  • Leduc Foundation – to support affordable seniors housing

The remaining portion funds local municipal services. Each year, Town Council sets the municipal tax rate in May as part of the annual budget process.
