North Saskatchewan River Update

As of 8:40am this morning the river has dropped 0.3m from 9:30pm last night. The Devon Lion’s Campground is under no danger of flooding at the current levels.  Staff will continue to monitor the water levels and are hopeful the levels will continue to drop, if we don’t receive any more rainfall.  Voyageur Park will remain closed at this time until the water levels reach a safe level and staff have had the opportunity to clean up any impacted areas.  Thank you to everyone for your patience as we look forward to being able to safely enjoy the North Saskatchewan River and Voyageur Park again.

Wednesday, August 24, 2016

Due to the high water levels of the North Saskatchewan River and trail flooding Voyageur Park is now closed to the public.  Please avoid the area until further notice.

Thank you,

Town of Devon
