44 Community Events The Town of Devon is asking residents to prepare for potential impacts of the Canada Post strike, which began on September 25. For the duration of the strike, all regular mail delivery will be disrupted. This includes the delivery of tax and utility bills by mail. Residents are also asked not to send correspondence or payments to the Town by mail until postal services resume. Please remember that residents remain responsible for making payments to the Town on time. Paperless Billing To avoid delays and ensure your account remains in good standing, we encourage you to sign up for paperless billing. How to Make Payments During the Disruption In Person Call 780-987-8300 for your account balance. Payments can be made during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) by cash, debit, or cheque at the Town Office. Drop Box Payments can be placed in the locked drop box located to the right of the main office doors. Online Banking Add the Town of Devon as a payee in your online banking. Select Taxes or Utilities, and enter all digits of your account number (no decimal point). Credit Card Payments can be made by credit card through OptionPay. Pre-Authorized Payments If you are registered for pre-authorized payments, withdrawals will continue as usual.
