Do you want to do your part and help get Devon ready for spring? Our annual Community Clean Up Event: Pitch In Devon 2019, starts April 29 and runs until May 3 with our Pitch In Devon Celebration BBQ on May 4 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Devon Community Centre.

Creating wildflower gardens is considered a low-cost alternative to high maintenance gardening. Planting with native species benefits our environment, the wildlife and overall health of our communities. Many wildflowers prefer poor soil and inattention, making them ideal for tough to maintain areas of your property.

Drop in Pickleball
Try pickleball! It's a mix of badminton, tennis, and ping-pong, and it's a great way to have fun and stay active. Located at Riverview Middle School.

Classic cinema! Cult movies! Modern masterpieces! The Devon Public Library is pleased to present THE MOVIE OF THE MONTH CLUB, a guided tour of great cinema from Hollywood and beyond. Every 1st Thursday of the month will showcase a significant film along with fascinating stories, revolutionary techniques and surprising histories that make each film a unique and eye-opening experience.

Pitch In Devon BBQ & Repair Fair
Celebrate a hard weeks work of cleaning up Devon with a BBQ and Repair Fair!
BYOB (Bring Your Own Book)
Bring Your Own Book to this afternoon book club! On the 1st Monday of the month, come with your lunch and a book you have especially enjoyed. We will take turns sharing and listening to all the great reads around the room.
Spring Treasure Hunt
The Treasure Hunt gives residents the opportunity to put any unwanted, but usable items out the weekend before Large Item Pick Up. Residents are then invited to go around Town to see what treasures are available in hopes of giving these items a new home.
Spring Large Item Pick Up
The Large Item Pick Up event is available to all residents with curbside service. Residents are invited to leave all large items they would like to get rid of out in their regular curbside collection location by 7 a.m. on their regular pick up day.
Movies are best viewed on the big screen so join us every month as we kick back with a great film. Bring your own snacks or munch on the provided popcorn.

Rise Up Challenge has been hosting events in Alberta since 2015 and combines the freedom of trail running, with the adventure that 20 fun and challenging obstacles can bring into the experience.
How are we protecting Devon’s Natural Area?
Do you want to learn how local natural areas are being protected? Do you want to find new areas to explore? Come and listen to a presentation by the Edmonton and Area Land Trust, a conservation charity that works to benefit wildlife and people by protecting natural areas and preserving biodiversity in the area.
Outdoor Guided Walking
Join in on a guided walk on Devon's paved trails! The walk is approximately an hour long with a shorter 30 minite option.
Devon Farmers Market
Head to the Devon Community Centre for the Devon Farmers Market every Thursday from June 6 to Oct. 10.
