At the end of the workshop, participants will receive a USB with all of the teaching material as well as the clips of themselves on camera to study on their own. Lots of teens are already familiar with acting on stage but on screen is a big difference! Chantal Perron**, will take you through the technical world of on-camera acting. We will focus on script interpretation, camera technique and making strong choices. In addition, Elise Graham** will educate participants on the world of television production including what to expect when you show up to a set. This intensive workshop will also provide tips and tricks for a better audition! Participants will gain the knowledge needed to handle the entire process with grace, and to prepare an audition in a fun and explorative way. Each participant will receive ample time on camera where students learn from others' feedback and performances, as well as their own work through comprehensive one-on-one instruction. The last half hour of the workshop (5:30pm-6:00pm) will be spent talking about agents, unions and next steps for young actors. We will go over the process of how to find and secure an agent and the benefits of joining ACTRA. Parents are encouraged to arrive early and sit in on this presentation so we can answer any questions you may have! Place: Mosaic Entertainment 2333 90b St SW Edmonton, AB T6X1V8 Tickets for the workshop are $150 each Register at https://www.girlsinfilmtv.com/course-info Share Print
