Join Chantelle Gray of Muskwa Medicine for a welcoming, hands-on Indigenous medicine teaching.

Through each teaching, participants will learn about the significance of traditional medicines, ways to care for the land around us and how to build a stronger relationship with the land through shared learning and experience.

Across the sessions, participants will learn about the purpose of the Pimiy Ôcenas Nâtawîhowin Askiya and why it and its plants matter, learn how to care for and contribute to the community garden, and take part in teachings around picking medicines, preparing them for storage and use over the winter, and supporting the continuation of this cycle for future years.

This program is open to all and free to attend. The final session in August will include a community feast and giveaway for participants.
