Shred It & Forget It

The Town of Devon is excited to bring back Shred It & Forget It, a free community shred event offering residents and businesses a safe and secure way to dispose of personal and confidential documents.

With support from EnviroShred’s secure mobile shredding trucks, participants can clear out sensitive paperwork with peace of mind while helping keep personal information protected.

Date: Saturday, June 13
Time: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Location: Devon Community Centre Parking Lot
Cost: Free

Event Guidlines: 

To help ensure everyone has a fair opportunity to use this service, please remember:

• Limit of 10 banker boxes per participant, including businesses
• Material will only be accepted during event hours or until the truck is full
• Return trips with additional material are not permitted

What Should You Bring? 

Not sure what to bring? Consider shredding documents that contain personal or confidential information, including:

• Bank statements and cancelled cheques
• Medical prescription labels
• Shipping labels
• Old IDs or photos
• Travel itineraries
• Resumes and CVs
• Memos and notes
• Junk mail with personal information
