The Friends of the Devon Public Library raise funds and awareness to help the library expand programs, improve spaces, and offer more to the community. Their efforts—from book sales to the annual Fun Run—turn neighbourly support into real enhancements for children’s areas, youth spaces, furnishings, and community programming.
Volunteering with the Friends is flexible, social, and great for first‑time helpers. Roles include supporting book sales, assisting with the Fun Run, helping at pop‑up fundraisers, or contributing through board leadership. Day‑of training is provided, and youth can participate with appropriate age guidelines. If you value community spaces and literacy, this is a welcoming and rewarding place to get involved.
