Tom’s Walk began as a memorial walk in 2018 and has grown into a compassionate community event that honours loved ones, opens space for shared stories, and connects people with mental‑health resources. Funds raised support the SILA Skills Group’s resilience programs, transforming remembrance into practical help for the community.
Volunteers help bring Tom’s Walk to life each year by supporting registration, route marshalling, participant care, communications, and board leadership. Training and guidance are provided, making roles approachable for adults and youth alike. Whether you join for event day or lend your skills year‑round, volunteering here turns empathy into meaningful action for mental health.
