Devon is home to many incredible organizations, services, and volunteer opportunities that contribute to a caring, connected community. This directory is designed to help residents easily find local supports, activities, and ways to get involved.

All listings have been provided directly by community groups and organizations, ensuring the information reflects their current programs and services. As community offerings change over time, updates are always welcome.

Whether you want to give back occasionally or get more involved, there are opportunities for all ages, abilities, and interests.     Town of Devon – Boards, Committees & Task Forces


Town boards and committees provide opportunities for residents to contribute their perspectives, experience, and ideas to local decision‑making. These advisory bodies support community leadership, municipal services, and long‑term planning while strengthening connections between residents and local government. Serving on a Town board or committee is a meaningful way to help shape Devon’s future and support thoughtful, community‑informed governance.

Volunteer Access and Recruitment Information

Residents interested in community leadership can apply to serve on Town boards, committees, or task forces. Recruitment typically takes place annually in the fall, with appointments beginning November 1. Board members meet monthly or as needed, and support is provided through orientation, training, and staff assistance to ensure volunteers feel confident and informed in their roles.

The Town of Devon acknowledges the land we are on, Treaty Six territory and the homeland of the Métis, which encompasses the traditional lands of the Cree (nehiyawak), Blackfoot (niitsitapi), Nakota (isga), Anishinaabe (anishinaabeg), and Métis (michif) Peoples, who are the legal caretakers and protectors of the lands and waters, and who have been here since time immemorial.

We acknowledge that Devon is within the traditional lands and territories of kiskayôs (Bobtail) and maskêkosihk (Enoch Cree) First Nations. We shall continue to uphold our Treaty responsibilities to all Peoples of Treaty Six and continue to work with all Indigenous Peoples towards a better future together.
