Monday, July 13, 2026 72 Community Events UPDATE: The Voyageur Park River Trail has reopened! Residents may now resume using the trail; however, as always, please use caution and be aware of your surroundings, particularly following severe weather events. The Town thanks residents for their patience and cooperation while the trail was temporarily closed to ensure public safety. Voyageur Park River Trail is closed due to unsafe conditions caused by this past weekend's windstorm. Several trees have fallen across the trail, and active wasp nests in the fallen debris have created a significant safety hazard. Town crews are working to safely remove the trees and address the wasp nests before the trail can reopen. What residents need to know: The trail wil be closed today and may remain closed into Tuesday. Please avoid the area and respect all trail closure signage. Consider using alternate trail routes until the trail has reopened. The Town appreciates your patience and cooperation as crews work to restore the trail as quickly and safely as possible. Share Print
