Updated program includes flat daily rate of $15 and free resident registration

Paid parking will return to Voyageur Park beginning June 5, 2026, with several updates to the program following the 2025 pilot season.

2026 program details

The program will run from June 5 to Sept. 30, 2026, with paid parking in effect on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

For 2026, a flat daily rate of $15 will apply to both the day use parking lots and boat launch parking lot.

Devon residents continue to park at no charge

Town of Devon residents will continue to park at no charge by registering their vehicle licence plate online beginning May 25 at portal.devon.ca.

Supporting Park maintenance and safety

The paid parking program was first introduced as a pilot project in 2025 in response to increased congestion, traffic management challenges and growing maintenance demands within Voyageur Park.

“Voyageur Park continues to see increased use throughout the summer months,” said Mayor Craddock. “Our hope is that the paid parking program continues to help the Town manage traffic volumes, support park maintenance and maintain a safe experience for residents and visitors, while continuing to provide free access for our local residents that already pay municipal taxes in our community.”

How visitors can pay

Visitors will be able to pay for parking by scanning posted QR codes throughout the park or by accessing the online payment portal at portal.devon.ca. Parking regulations will be enforced and failure to pay may result in a fine.

Signage will be installed throughout Voyageur Park ahead of the June 1 launch date to help guide users through the updated process.

Additional information, including resident registration details and frequently asked questions, is available at devon.ca/VP-Parking.
