Sunday, July 5, 2020 11083 Community Events Update - July 5 We have re-opened Voyageur Park and the boat launch as the water levels have dropped and parks crews have been busy cleaning the mud and debris from our trails and boat launch to make them usable again. Boat launch users should still be aware that although the river depth has dropped, it is still flowing at a rapid pace and boaters are advised to access the river with extreme caution. Trail users should also exercise caution as the fine layer of mud still on the trails after sweeping them can be quite slippery in places. The lower section of the Legs of Fire stairs are still closed to the public at this time. Original Post - July 3 - Voyageur Park Closed Until Further Notice Due to the rising waters and trail flooding, we have closed Voyageur Park including the boat launch until further notice. We are continuing to monitor the water levels and will provide an update when it is once again safe for use. Share Print
