Yes, a plumber is the best person to determine where and why a blockage is occurring. Blockages typically occur somewhere in the service line running from the home to the street and can be dealt with by a plumber. If it is a recurring problem there may be more than just a blockage in the service line and we suggest you contact us at 780.987.3342 to arrange for a video inspection of the service line to your home. The cost for this is about $300 and the homeowner pays for this service, however if the video shows a broken pipe on Public Property the Town of Devon will reimburse the cost for the video and repair the line. Should the video show a broken pipe on your property, you as the homeowner will be responsible to have it repaired at your cost.
