2599 Community Events Opening day now tentatively scheduled for May 31 at 6 p.m. with annual BBQ Due to delays caused largely by the weather, the Devon Community Pool’s opening day has been pushed back two weeks with a new tentative opening date of May 31, 2019. In fall 2018, the Town started construction on improvements to the Devon Community Pool which included the installation of new decking and a full basin lining. Thanks to the unusually sustained cold, wet weather both last fall and again this spring, the work on the pool has met delays and will not be complete to meet the planned May 17 opening date.
