Wednesday, June 10, 2026 1 Community Events Beginning July 1, 2026, the Town of Devon will implement a $2 paper bill fee for utility accounts that receive printed bills by mail. The fee will first appear on June 2026 utility bills and is intended to cover the cost associated with printing and mailing paper utility bills. Residents who receive their utility bills by email will not be charged the fee. As utility billing and communication methods continue to evolve, electronic delivery provides a secure and efficient option for residents to receive their bills while helping reduce administrative and mailing costs. The introduction of the paper bill fee aligns the cost of printed bill delivery with the expenses incurred by the Town to provide that service. The fee applies only to utility accounts that receive paper bills through the mail. There is no change to utility rates, payment methods or billing schedules.
