Priority A & B Snow Removal Starts Feb. 20, 2026

Following our most recent snowfall, significant accumulations have built up across the community. Cleanup work in the downtown core has also resulted in some large windrows that are  affecting traffic flow.

To help restore safe and accessible road conditions, the Town of Devon will begin snow removal in Priority A areas tomorrow (Feb. 20, 2026), with select Priority B routes added to address high-impact locations as quickly as possible.


Snow Removal Schedule

❄️ Priority A Roads – Friday, February 20 (starting at 6:00 a.m.)

Crews will begin work in the Downtown Core and other Priority A routes to remove windrows and improve traffic flow.

Priority A roads include:

  • Columbia Avenue West
  • Downtown Core
  • Erie Street
  • Huron Street
  • Industrial Park
  • Southwest portion of River Drive & Saskatchewan Avenue
  • Superior Street
  • West portion of Miquelon Avenue

❄️ Select Priority B Roads – Friday, February 20

To help reduce impacts on schools, churches, and major facilities, crews will also clear the following Priority B locations:

  • Jasper Court South
  • Robina Baker School
  • St. Clair Street
  • Haven Avenue

❄️ Remaining Priority B Roads & Laneways – Monday, February 23 & Tuesday, February 24

Crews will continue clearing all remaining Priority B routes and municipal laneways. Snow piles in municipal parking lots will also be loaded out during this time.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as our Public Works team works to keep Devon’s roads safe and passable. Weather conditions may affect timelines, and updates will be shared as needed.
