There are things we can all do to keep our pets safe and our neighbours happy

Many of our residents here in Devon own cats and it’s important to be aware of some regulations to follow to help keep everyone happy, and pets safe:

• Ensure you obtain a pet license and permanent identification (microchip or tattoo).

• Spay or neuter your cat.

• Don’t allow your cat to become a threat or nuisance – We have had some issues with cats eating or digging up people’s plants, urinating and defecating on properties. Please make sure to keep cats on your property at all times to prevent this from happening.

You can report any lost/found pet or any other animal concerns to the Devon Protective Services at P: 780-987-3440. The Responsible Pet Ownership Bylaw is available here.
